Craig Littlepage and Virginia continue their search for a men's basketball coach to replace Dave Leitao, and as the NCAA Tournament continues to eliminate teams, options open up for Littlepage. The Virginia athletic director continues to decline comment on the coaching search, as it enters its 12th day on Friday.

Sean Miller of Xavier is a possible candidate that surfaced on the very first day. Miller's Musketeers fell to Pittsburgh in the East Regional Semifinal Thursday night, meaning Virginia can formally contact him.

Anthony Grant looks to be headed to either Alabama or Florida. Published reports in Tuscaloosa indicate that Grant was offered the Crimson Tide job for around two million dollars per year, and that he is expected to let Alabama know at some point on Friday. The Gators are also a possibility for Grant, where he was an assistant under head coach Billy Donovan. If Donovan leaves Florida for another head coaching job (Kentucky is expected to decide Billy Gillispie's fate on Friday), Grant could find himself at the top of the Gators' wish list.

Jeff Capel continues to surface in many reports. Capel will lead his Sooners into Sweet 16 action on Friday, and reports indicate that he may be interested in the Cavaliers' head coaching job.

The latest rumor that surfaced in the last couple days is that a candidate toured John Paul Jones Arena on Tuesday night and that it may have been Rick Barnes from Texas. Our sources, as well as several published reports, lead us to believe that both rumors are false.

Be sure to vote on our web poll and tell us who you think the next Cavalier head coach should be.
