It wasn't much fun watching the Cavalier men's basketball team this season. A horrible regular season, and an early exit in the ACC tournament. The drama still isn't over as the team is still searching for their next head coach. But, on the women's side there was little to no drama.

Grabbing wins in the ACC and NCAA tournaments capped off another successful season for Debbie Ryan and her team. Monica Wright is a huge part of the teams success. Averaging 20.5 points per game to lead the ACC, and rank 13th in the nation add to her growing resume, as she's been named a finalist for the Wooden Award, Naismith Trophy, and the Wade Trophy.

Despite all the success, Wright feels that her best days are still ahead of her. Even with all of the individual accolades there is still room for improvement.
