The rivalry between the Terrapins and the Cavaliers is intense on all aspects on the athletics between the two schools, but it is especially tense on the lacrosse field
Saturday's match up at Klockner Stadium proved to be another example of a classic game, only this time NCAA history was made. The Cavaliers 10-9 seven-overtime victory over the Terps was the longest played game in NCAA Division-one history.
