Virginia Shuts Out North Carolina

The Virginia men's tennis team shut out North Carolina 7-0 in its final home match of the season.

The Cavaliers won the doubles point and went on to sweep the singles matches in front of 502 fans at the Snyder Tennis Center. It was Virginia's 40th consecutive win over an ACC team and 47th consecutive win at home. The Cavaliers have also secured at least a share of the ACC regular season title for the sixth straight year.

Virginia is now 24-0 on the season, 9-0 in the ACC. The Cavaliers will try to stay undefeated on Friday when they head down to Winston-Salem, NC to take on Wake Forest. Following their match with the Demon Deacons, the Cavs will close out the regular season at NC State.
