Clint Sintim had a breakout 2008 season and has done well at the scouting combine and pro day. The former Cavalier linebacker only has three more days to wait until he finds out his NFL future.
Sintim tallied eleven sacks as a senior in 2008 and was widely regarded as one of the top pass rushers in the ACC. He is currently projected to go between the late first round and second round in Saturday's draft. Sintim excelled in the 3-4 defense that Virginia plays, but many teams in the NFL run the 4-3 scheme. Still, Sintim is expected to have success in a pro uniform.
The former Cavalier says that his one downfall may be that he reads to much and pays attention to the speculation. He also says that this week will probably be the longest week of his life, as he waits to find out where he is headed to continue his career.
