UVa Tennis Advances, Men Stay Perfect

After ample amounts of rain over the past few days, Both Virginia tennis teams hit the courts on Friday in the opening rounds of the NCAA Tournament.

The women wasted no time in taking care of VCU down in Durham to advance. The men on the other hand, had to wait as South Carolina fell to UNC. Virginia men took care of the doubles point, sweeping all three matches then Sanam Singh, Michael Shabaz, and Drew Courtney would all win their matches in straight sets to secure the 4-0 win. Virginia will now face UNC in the second round, and the Cavalier women will face Duke on Saturday.
