The Cavalier men's tennis team will take the court on Thursday afternoon in the NCAA Tournament Round of 16. As they did in the second round, the Cavs will face a team for the third time this season, and once again it will be against an ACC foe.

Virginia will tangle with Florida State for the right to stay alive and advance to the Round of Eight. The Cavaliers advanced by topping Navy and North Carolina in the first two rounds, both by 4-0 scores. Virginia enters with a perfect 31-0 record.

Florida State comes in as the 16th overall seed. The Seminoles topped Jacksonville State in the first round by a 4-0 count, and came back to top Auburn in the second round, 4-1. FSU is 21-8 on the season so far.

These squads' first two meetings were very different. The Seminoles presented quite a challenge for Virginia in the regular season match up, as the Cavaliers escaped Tallahassee with the 4-3 win. Their ACC Championship match was not nearly as close, which saw the Wahoos cruise to the 4-0 win.

Tomorrow's match will get underway at 1:00pm eastern time in College Station, Texas.
