Starting at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, everyone could sense it was going to be a special day for the Albemarle Patriots. First, the undefeated boys soccer team made easy work of Massaponax, scoring four goals in the first half and cruising to a 6-0 shut out. Steven Bargh led the scoring for the Pats with two goals and one assist, while Brian Natale chipped in with a goal and two assists.

Both lacrosse teams saw success as well, both teams competed in the regional quarterfinals and both won by landslides. The boys made easy work of Potomac, winning 17-2. Early in the game, the Patriots jumped all over the panthers scoring five goals in the first six minutes of the game. The Lady Patriots saw early success as well and cruised to a 15-3 win over Woodbridge.

Patriot baseball worked their way to victory the same way the other three teams did today. A three-run home run by Tyler Molinaro in the bottom half of the first was the start of a huge day for the Albemarle attack. They put 11 runs on the board as they take care of Massaponax, 11-1.
