Inglot/Shabaz Advance, Singh Falls in NCAA Semifinals

The doubles team of Dominic Inglot and Michael Shabaz advanced to the NCAA championship match, while Sanam Singh fell in his semifinal match, ending his bid for an NCAA championship.

The duo of Inglot and Shabaz beat North Carolina's Clay Donato and Taylor Fogleman in three sets: 4-6, 6-4, 6-4. It is the first time ever that a Virginia doubles team has reached the NCAA final. Inglot and Shabaz will take on John-Patrick Smith and Davey Sandgren of Tennessee in the championship match Monday morning at 11:00 ET.

Singh was beaten by Ohio State's Steven Moneke in three sets: 6-1, 4-6, 6-3 in the semifinals. He finishes the season with 42 singles wins, the third highest total in program history.
