The Albemarle girls lacrosse team took the field Wednesday evening in the Northwest Region third place game. With a victory against Forest Park, the Patriots would earn a berth in the state playoffs. With a loss, Albemarle's season would come to an end.

The Pats put on an offensive clinic in this match up, topping Forest Park, 20-1. Albemarle jumped out quickly, building up a 12-0 lead by halftime, and cruised to victory from there. The Patriots improve their record to 11-5.
