Scouting the Arkansas Razorbacks

Here is a look at the Cavaliers upcoming game versus the Arkansas Razorbacks on Wednesday at 7.p.m. on ESPN 2.

Arkansas is 40-23 on the season and went 14-15 in Southeastern Conference play. The Razorbacks went 3-0 in the Norman, Oklahoma Regional defeating Washington State and Oklahoma twice. They then went on and swept Florida State in the Tallahassee Super Regional to advance to the College World Series.

The Razorbacks opened the College World Series with a win over Cal State Fullerton. In their second game, Arkansas lost to LSU 9-1, and now faces Virginia in an elimination game.

Offensively, Arkansas is led by sophomore Andy Wilkins. Wilkins is batting .332 on the season with 19 homeruns, 18 doubles, and 58 runs batted in.

The Razorback pitching staff is anchored by Mike Bolsinger and Dallas Keuchel. Bolsinger sports a 2.98 earned run average and a 6-4 record while Keuchel is 8-3 on the season with a 4.07 earned run average.

The Arkansas Razorbacks are coached by Dave Van Horn.
