The Tony Bennett Basketball School at John Paul Jones Arena has given many young fans a unique opportunity to learn the game from Coach Bennett and his staff, but also take the court with many of the players they have idolized over the last few years.
The camp which runs through Wednesday features youth ages 8-14 that are looking to learn some of the basic skills that will help them as they advance through the different ranks of youth basketball.
A typical day at the camp includes stations that focus on offense and defense, games, competitions, and even an opportunity to play against the Cavaliers' themselves.
Many of the Cavalier players are coaches at the camp and they all described the week as a great way to interact with many of the young fans that they would not necessarily get to interact with during the season.
