Former Cavalier Sean Singletary will not have the year option on his contract picked up by the Charlotte Bobcats. Singletary becomes a restricted free agent.

The guard can now look to catch on with another organization, or explore overseas options as well. He was drafted by the Sacramento Kings on June 26, 2008, with the 42nd pick of the NBA Draft.

After being drafted by the Kings, Singletary was traded to Houston on August 14, and spent just eleven days as a Rocket before being shipped to the Suns. The former Cav got a fair amount of playing time in Phoenix, and was traded to Charlotte on December 10. With the Bobcats, Singletary saw his minutes decrease, and he did not see any playing time after February 11.

On March 6, Singletary was sent to the Bobcats' NBA Developmental League team in Sioux Falls. We will keep you updated as to where Singletary goes from here.
