The Fry's Spring Beach Club swim team has over 300 swimmers, and is one of the largest in the Jefferson Swim League. These swimmers range from ages four to 18, and several of them have been given a helping hand by the club.

Around 20 of the Fry's Spring swimmers are members of the team because they have been given scholarships provided by the club. These scholarships are reserved for those swimmers who could otherwise not afford the chance to be on the team. Many of the scholarships have been given to refugees from Africa.

When many of the swimmers on scholarship arrived at Fry's Spring, they could not swim, but now, they are swimming in meets every single Wednesday night during the summer. Head Coach Ben Bullard and assistant coach Clara Bullard took time to talk to us, and both say this program is very important and very valuable to the kids receiving the scholarships, the other swimmers, and the coaches.
