It marked another big night in the pool, as the Jefferson Swim League held its second to last week of the regular season. Headlining the action was a battle between two big teams in Crozet and Fairview. Both entered undefeated, with the winner taking home the Division I regular season crown.
It marked a close meet the entire way, but in the end, it was the Seahorses defending their home water. Fairview topped Crozet, 564-498. The victory gives Fairview another Division I title, as they prepare for the championship meet at the end of the month.
The top is not an unfamiliar place for the Seahorses. Entering the season, they have won 19 consecutive Jefferson Swim League titles, including last year. Fairview will look to defend its title at this year's championship meet, which takes place on July 24 and 25 at the UVa Aquatic and Fitness Center.
