Marino Finishes 38th at British Open

Former Cavalier Steve Marino finished tied for 38th in his first ever British Open.

Marino shot a +5 on Sunday to finish at +6 for the tournament. Four other golfers also finished tied for 38th including Sergio Garcia and Vijay Singh.

Stewart Cink won the British Open after defeating Tom Watson in a four hole playoff at Turnberry. It was Cink's first ever major championship, while Watson was denied his bid at becoming the oldest player ever to win a major.
