Hall Shies Away from Spotlight

August 22, 2009

Virginia quarterback Vic Hall has become the face of Virginia football, but he's not a guy who enjoys that kind of attention.

Last season Hall was the only junior of the three captains. This season he is a captain for his senior campaign, as he prepares to make the move from defensive back to quarterback.

The Gretna native has not only won over his teammates, but the fans as well. He is front and center on the Virginia football media guide, prominently featured on a billboard and he even has his own commercial. Hall says he really doesn't pay attention to that kind of stuff, that he's at Virginia to play football and get his education.

Hall and the Cavaliers open up the regular season Saturday September 5th against William and Mary. Kickoff is set for 6 pm from Scott Stadium.
