The Cavalier men's soccer team traveled to Old Dominion Monday night for its second of three exhibition games, and did not experience much success, falling to the Monarchs, 3-1. It marks Virginia's second exhibition loss of the season.
The two teams were scoreless until the 75th minute when Old Dominion scored the first goal of the game, and never trailed. Ahkeel Rodney scored the lone goal for the Cavaliers, finding the back of the net in the 82nd minute.
Virginia also fell in its first exhibition contest, as George Mason topped the Cavaliers, 1-0 in overtime, at Klockner Stadium last Friday night. The Cavs will look for more success on Saturday, when they host their final exhibition match up of the season. Virginia takes on West Virginia at home with a 7:00pm scheduled start time.
