Al Groh and the Cavalier football team take the field in their season opener on Saturday. Virginia will take on William and Mary at Scott Stadium, and Groh sat down with CBS19 to preview the upcoming game on Wednesday during CBS19 News at Noon.

Groh says that the players have been in game preparation since Friday, and things are going well. After a day off on Monday, Groh and his squad are putting the finishing touches on the game plan for Saturday's game. The head coach also points out that William and Mary is a good team, and says that the team respects every player, coach, and team it comes across, whether it's USC or William and Mary.

He also went on to say that he has not yet decided on a starting quarterback. Groh says that there are two days remaining in practice and the team will use all the time it has to decide on a starter and evaluate the players.
