Overtime has been no stranger to Cavalier men's soccer this season. On Friday night down in Durham, Virginia soccer again faced double overtime. However it came to an unfortunate end for the Cavs.
The 12th ranked Virginia team held 5th ranked North Carolina scoreless through 108 minutes of play, but it was the shot from Tar Heel midfielder Cameron Brown in the 109th minute that sealed the deal to give UNC the 1-0 victory on Friday night.
Virginia drops to 1-3 in the ACC, 6-3 overall and will look to rebound back at hom eon Oct. 7, as they host Longwood at 7 p.m.
