Cavalier Men Prepare for Longwood

October 6, 2009

The Virginia men's soccer team returns to action Wednesday night with a non-conference game against Longwood.

The Cavaliers are coming off a tough double overtime loss at #2 North Carolina on October 2. Virginia is 6 and 3 on the season and has never lost to Longwood. The Cavaliers hold a 4-0-1 advantage in the all-time series with the Lancers after last year's 2-2 tie at Klockner Stadium.

Wednesday night's game with Longwood kicks off at 7 pm at Klockner Stadium. Following Wednesday's game the Cavaliers will not play again until they host Liberty on Tuesday October 13.
