Week Six is headlined by what is no doubt the game of the week in the NFL, the undefeated New Orleans Saints hosting the undefeated New York Giants. This could be a potential NFC Championship preview because both of these teams are really good. I'm giving the edge to the Saints here because they are playing at home and that Superdome crowd is going to be crazy. Also, Eli Manning is still a little banged up and Drew Brees has had a bye week to prepare for that Giants defense. I'm going with the Saints in a close one. You can catch this game at 1pm on WAHU FOX27.
Moving to the 1pm game on CBS19, the Washington Redskins taking on the Kansas City Chiefs. This is the 6th consecutive week the Skins are facing a winless team; that's never happened before. Now the Chiefs are kind of a trendy pick this week because they have come close to beating a few teams and the Skins just lost to the winless Panthers, but I am not a trendy dude. The Redskins are playing at home (where they have won both of their games) and they're also playing to save their coach's job. I think the Skins win, but it will be a close game.
You know what won't be a close game? The 4:15 game on CBS19 between the New England Patriots and the Tennessee Titans. The Titans have been the most disappointing team in the NFL this year. Last season they had an NFL-best 13-3 record, this year they're off to an 0-5 start. And after this weekend, they're going to be 0 and 6 because they are not going to beat the Patriots in Foxborough.
