The Virginia men's soccer team has dominated Virginia Tech over the years, and that domination continued Saturday in Blacksburg.
Virginia Tech took the early lead when Brendan Dunn scored his first goal of the season in the 13th minute, but it was all UVa from there. The Cavaliers scored three unanswered goals, including two from freshman Will Bates. Neil Barlow scored Virginia's other goal and now leads the team with four goals on the season.
The Cavaliers are now 34-4-1 in the all-time series with the Hokies. With the win on Saturday, Virginia improves to 8-3-1 on the year, 2-3 in the ACC. The Cavaliers return to Klockner Stadium on Tuesday for a non-conference game with Howard.
