Starks, Barbour Named AP "AA" State Players of the Year

Orange High School's Bradley Starks and Charlottesville High School's Andrea Barbour were both named AP "AA" State Players of the Year Tuesday night in the sport of basketball.

Starks will head to West Virginia University this fall to play quarterback for the Mountaineers. He averaged 19 points per game and almost 10 rebounds.

Barbour will attend Virginia Tech to continue to play basketball for the Hokies. She amassed over 2,300 points in her career at Charlottesville.
