Parsons' Picks: Week Nine

November 7, 2009

After a week of having some tough matchups to pick, I finally get an easy game to pick. It's the 1 pm game on WAHU Fox27 between the Redskins and Falcons. Normally I'm a fan of choosing teams coming off a bye week, but not when it's the Redskins. They are an absolute mess from top to bottom and I'll be surprised if Atlanta doesn't win this one by more than two touchdowns.

Moving to the 1 pm on CBS19, a good AFC North battle between the Ravens and Bengals. The Ravens are looking for some revenge after losing to Cincinnati a couple weeks ago. The Ravens looked great last week against Denver and I think the defense will shut down Palmer, Ochocinco and company on the way to a win, making that AFC North race even more interesting.

Finishing up with the 4:15 game on CBS19 between the San Diego Chargers and the New York Giants. I can't believe the Giants have lost three straight and I think their losing streak ends on Sunday. I'm not sold on the Chargers as a good team, as half of their wins have come against the Oakland Raiders. I like the Giants to beat the Chargers, who historically have not played well on the east coast.
