Virginia Women Receive NCAA Bid

The Virginia women's soccer team has received a bid to the NCAA tournament for the 16th consecutive season.

The Cavaliers will travel to Penn State for a first round matchup with St. John's on Friday. It will be the first ever meeting between Virginia and St. John's. Virginia is 9-5-5 on the season, while St. John's is 13-6-1. This will be the first NCAA appearance for the Red Storm.

Friday's game between Virginia and St. John's is set to start at 5 pm and will be followed by Penn State and Colgate at 7:30 pm. The winners will meet on Sunday at 1 pm.
