Cavs Win 30th Game of Season

Brandon Marsh went 2-6 with a triple and a run, and Tyler Cannon went 1-1 with three RBI as the Virginia Baseball Team cruised past Virginia Commonwealth, 8-1.

With the win, the Cavs finish their non-conference road schedule with a 5-2 record, and improve to 30-7 overall on the season.

The Rams scored the first run of the game, but Virginia answered with eight unanswered runs, shutting the door on VCU. Jeff Lorick got the win on the mound for the Wahoos.

Virginia returns home for a weekend series with Georgia Tech beginning this Friday. First pitch is set for 7 p.m. Click on the above video link to view highlights of tonight's win.
