Devvarman ACC Player of the Week

Cavalier junior tennis player Somdev Devvarman has been named this week's ACC Player of the Week. Devvarman was a perfect 2-0 in both singles and doubles competition this past week, as the Cavaliers rolled past Duke and North Carolina, both by 6-1 scores.

Devvarman has been Virginia's top player throughout the season, catipulting to a number two national ranking with a 31-5 singles record. The junior also teams with Treat Huey in doubles action. The tandem also boasts the country's second ranking, and holds a 27-6 mark on the year.

The Cavaliers will be the top seed in this weekend's ACC Tournament, and will be looking for their third title in the last four years.
