Kyle Long hit a first inning two run home run, as the STAB baseball team rolled past St. Christopher's 10-4. The loss improves the Saints' record to 5-7, and snaps a two game losing streak. They will be back in action Saturday afternoon.
In boys lacrosse action, Western Albemarle and Albemarle met in a cross-county rivalry game, with the Warriors hanging on for the 8-7 victory. The teams went into halftime knotted up at five, but Western used late momentum to grab the one goal win.
Girls action saw STAB roll past North Cross, 21-8. The Saints got a big performance from Molly McClintic, who scored seven goals and added five assits in the win.
Charlottesville was not as fortunate as the Saints, falling to Liberty, 12-7.
