Monticello first baseman Brandon Hairston will continue his baseball career in college at Norfolk State. Hairston is the first Mustang this season to declare that he will play Division I baseball.
Currently, Hairston bats clean up in the Monticello line up, and has led them to a 3-3 Jefferson District record. He will begin working out with the Spartans in the fall.
Hairston and the Mustangs will be back in action on Friday as they travel to Charlottesville.
