Cavaliers Drop 7-6 Heartbreaker in 14 Innings to JMU

The Virginia Cavalier baseball team played in a marathon of a game Wednesday night as they fell in 14 innings to JMU, 7-6. The Cavaliers fall to 34-10 on the season.

After nine complete innings, the Cavaliers and Dukes were tied at 2. It would stay that way until the 14th inning, when JMU exploded for 5 runs in the top half of the inning to go up 7-2. In the bottom half of the 14th, the Cavaliers rallied and put 4 runs up on the board, but the rally fell short as Brian O'Connor's team fell 7-6. Click the link above for the video.
