The Monticello baseball team broke out of its slump, and in a big way, beating Charlottesville, 12-2, in six innings. The win snaps the Mustangs' three game losing streak, and improves their Jefferson District record to 4-3. The Black Knights fall to 3-3 in the district.

The two teams met in boys lacrosse as well, with the Mustangs winning in overtime, 14-13.
