Cody Daulton had 12 strikeouts, as the Charlottesville Baseball Team knocked off Fluvanna, 10-2. The Flucos jumped out to the early 2-0 lead, but the Knights put up ten unanswered runs to secure the win.
Albemarle was also victorious in baseball tonight. Patrick Collins went 2-3 with a home run, and Mickey White went a perfect 4-4 to lead the Patriots to an 11-3 win over North Stafford.
In softball action, Monticello took sole possession of first place in the Jefferson District with an 8-2 win over William Monroe. Kristin Shifflett and Victoria Scott each tallied three hits, while adding two runs and an RBI each.
