The Cavalier baseball team dropped game three to North Carolina State Sunday afternoon at Davenport Field, 8-6. The Wolfpack win the series two games to one. The Cavaliers trailed by three runs in the bottom of the fifth, until Sean Doolittle hit a three run home run to tie the game . Doolittle hit his second home run in two days. This is the first conference series Virginia has lost since opening ACC play against Wake Forest.
The Cavaliers regular season home finale is on Tuesday against Coastal Carolina.
