The Cavaliers rewrote the school and conference history books today, defeating USC, 4-1, in the NCAA quarterfinals. With the win, the 'Hoos become the first ACC team ever to advance to the semifinals.
Virginia took the doubles point, led by the No. 1 team of Somdev Devvarman and Treat Huey. In singles play, the Cavaliers got wins from Devvarman, Huey and Dominic Inglot to seal up the victory.
The Cavaliers will face No. 1 Georgia on Monday.
