The Cavaliers are one win away from the NCAA Super Regionals.
John Scaglione knocked in the game-winning run in the top of the 13th, and the Cavaliers added two more runs, to defeat Oregon State, 7-4.
Casey Lambert pitched the final 6.2 innings in relief for the win, allowing one run, five hits, and striking out eight. David Adams went 3-for-6 and Tim Henry was 2-for-4 to lead Virginia.
Virginia will play at 6pm Sunday against the winner of the Rutgers/OSU game (which is played at 1). A win would send the Cavaliers to the Super Regionals for the first time in the Brian O'Connor era. A loss would result in a rematch Monday with elimination on the line.
