During Saturday's regional baseball game at Davenport Field, left fielder Brandon Guyer slid head first into home plate. Guyer dislocated his shoulder during the play. He will not play the remainder of the regional. Head coach Brian O'Connor said they will know more after Monday's MRI.
Right fielder Brandon Marsh was also injured during the game. Marsh was hit by a pitch. He is suffering from a fractured wrist. Marsh is currently wearing a cast and will not play in this weekends regional. O'Connor said he will only put him in as a substitute runner.
