The Cavalier men's soccer team was not yet one day removed from its sixth national championship and head coach George Gelnovatch made time to make a live appearance on CBS19 News at 5:00.

Gelnovatch talked about how it felt to finally win a title as a head coach. He had been on Bruce Arena's staff during the five previous Virginia NCAA Championships and was able to capture one as a head coach in his 14th year at the head of the program. He also spoke on his team's strengths and peaking at the right time.

Gelnovatch says that he realized his team had the chance to win it all after the club won the ACC Championship. He says that the team played better in the NCAA Semifinals than in the ACC semifinals, which is difficult to do.
