Virginia guard Sylven Landesberg has always been a natural scorer since coming to Virginia, but now he's finding other ways to help his team win games.
In Wednesday night's win over Hampton, Landesberg grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds and dished out a season-high six assists. It was his first career collegiate double-double.
Coming in as the reigning ACC rookie of the year, Landesberg has become more of a marked man this season. Now when he drives and draws more defenders, he's able to find an open man, which is helping his teammates score more points.
Landesberg and the Cavaliers are on a break for the holiday, but will return to action Wednesday when they host UAB.
