According to published reports, Charlottesville Police received a phone call at 12:45am Sunday morning reporting that shots were fired on UVA football player Vic Hall on the Corner at UVA. However, authorities have not found any evidence of gunshots.
Hall, who plays cornerback and special teams for the Cavaliers, was taken to UVA Medical Center where he was treated for a blow to the head and a cut on his finger.
Last year, the junior from Gretna, Virginia, had 12 tackles and was expected to compete for a starting job this season.
