The 20th annual Charlottesville City Golf Tournament began play on Friday at Meadowcreek Golf Club.
One hundred golfer are playing in this years tournament.
After day one, Wes Ecklund leads the group shooting eight under par.
Last year's champion, Nick Little, is in third with four under par.
