Sean Singletary is one of 32 players who has been invited to try out for Team USA that will compete at the Pan-Am Games at the end of the month. The trials will take place this Thursday through Saturday at Haverford College in suburban Philadelphia.
During the trials, the 32 player field will be downsized to a 12 player roster that will represent the United States at the end of the month. Singletary withdrew from the NBA Draft last month so he could return to Virginia for his senior season.
Once it is formed, Team USA will practice in Washington, DC, before departing for the Pan-Am Games. The competition will take place from July 25-29 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
