Cavaliers Clobber Keydets 20-6
The Virginia men's lacrosse team cruised past VMI Tuesday night to stay perfect on the season.

The Virginia men's lacrosse team cruised past VMI by a final of 20-6 on Tuesday night. It was Virginia's 17th consecutive win over the Keydets.
The Cavaliers jumped out to a 4-0 lead and never looked back, building a 13-4 lead at the break. Chris Bocklet and Matt White each had four goals apiece, and Steele Stanwick chipped in a goal and five assists. In all, 14 different Cavaliers scored goals.
The 20 goals are a season-high for the Cavaliers. Virginia also outshot VMI 59-25 in the game.
With the win, Virginia improves to 5-0 on the season. The Cavaliers will now head to Ithaca, NY to take on Cornell on Saturday in a rematch of last season's NCAA semifinals. The Big Red knocked off Virginia 15-6 in that game.
