After a sacrifice fly from Dan Grovatt to drive in Tyler Cannon, the Cavaliers took an early 1-0 lead in the Cavs first trip to William & Mary since 2004. However, the Tribe had other ideas and we're looking to upset it's second ACC opponent this week.
William & Mary took a 5-1 lead into the sixth inning when the Cavalier bats came alive. After five runs in the sixth inning, and four runs in the eighth, Virginia took a 12-6 lead which ended up being the final score.
Jarrett Parker sparked the Cavalier comeback with a three run home run before he finished with four RBI, and Steve Proscia went 3-5 from the fish as he also ended with four RBI.
The Cavs hit the road to open ACC play with Florida State on Friday.
