August is just around the corner, which means that the Virginia Football Team is getting ready to lace up their cleats for Fall Camp. The 'Hoos report to practice on August 6. Meet The Team Day is set for August 12.
For the second year in a row, the Cavaliers were picked by members of the media to finish fourth in the ACC Coastal Division. However, the expectations are much higher among the Wahoo Faithful as Al Groh's squad looks to rebound from a 5-and-7 campaign in 2006. 18 starters return from last years team.
Most eyes will be on quarterback Jameel Sewell, who is ready to show the Cavaliers he is healed from offseason wrist surgery. The redshirt sophomore has a a year under his belt, but has lost a lot of targets. The wide receiving corps took a huge hit in the offseason. Maurice Covington is the only returning wide-out with a college reception.
