Owen Van Arsdale exemplifies all the qualities of a leader with the St. Anne's-Belfield lacrosse team. Last season as a junior, his peers selected him as a captain, a role which he still carries into this year, his senior season.

On the field, Van Arsdale is an All-American attackman who's attempting to lead his team to a third straight state title. Also, Van Arsdale shined as a quarterback for the Saints football squad.

He also has received awards in the classroom as well, and has taken honors and AP courses since his freshman year. He maintains a 3.9 grade point average and will attend the University of Virginia next fall for a challenge in academics as well as to play on the Cavaliers lacrosse team.
