Last year was one of transition for the Virginia offensive line. After losing three long-term starters, including D'Brickashaw Ferguson, the unit struggled to gel at the beginning of last year.
This year it's a different story. With the entire line returning to the trenches, the unit is one of the strongest on the team. Junior Branden Albert is the "Old Man" in the group. This will be his third year starting on the line. Left tackle Eugene Monroe returns after being named the most improved player in the spring. The line has seen tremendous growth in the past year, and are ready to protect Jameel Sewell, and open up holes for the Cavalier ground attack.
