The UVa men's soccer wom their first game of the 2007 season on Friday night against Columbia, 5-0. Yannick Reyering and Chris Tierney added two goals a piece in the win. Matt Ayotte tacked on a goal in the 79th minute of the game. Virginia will host Richmond on Sunday at 5 p.m.
The Cavalier women also open up their season with a win. The Cavaliers shut out Delaware 4-0. The Cavaliers will host No. 15 West Virginia at Klockner stadium on Sunday at 2 p.m.
