The Virginia Cavaliers return home to Charlottesville after a two point win in Chapel Hill Saturday. It was a statement game for Cedric Peerman, as he delivered one of the best running back performances of the Al Gr oh era.
The senior ran for a career-high 186 yards on 30 carries, breaking his personal best of 137, set a week earlier at the Duke Game. Peerman is the first Cav to have back-to-back 100-yard games since Alvin Pearman in 2004. Cedric also had 37 receiving yards and scored his second touchdown of the season.
