The Cavaliers are 3-0 in the ACC for the first time in four years, and after Saturday's come-from-behind victory against Georgia Tech, there's a new buzz around Charlottesville. Yet Cavalier fans aren't the only ones taking notice on the 'Hoos improvements. The Cavs earned votes in the AP and Coaches Polls released Sunday.
As for Jameel Sewell, he's getting votes of confidence after his best performance of the year. The redshirt sophomore was 16/25 for 177 yards with no interceptions and led the Cavs to the endzone on their first two possessions. Sewell ran for a four yard touchdown which gave the cavs the 14-7 lead.
Georgia tech would take the 23-21 lead, but after Virginia recovered the ball on a muffed punt, Sewell threw a perfect strike to Staton Jobe for the game-winning touchdown.
